A vibrant Mexican fast-casual experience shaped by rhythm, reflection and discovery
With the recognizable Chidoz identity as its starting point, the Zwolle interior transforms the elongated space into a sequence of distinct experiences. A clear division between ordering and seating creates an intuitive journey — from the energy of the counter to a warmer and more intimate dining environment.
Beyond the counter, visitors step into a rhythmic sequence of seating booths. Their curved profiles frame views through the interior and gradually reveal what lies ahead, turning the length of the space into part of the experience.
Mirrored surfaces amplify this rhythm, reflecting booths, lighting, planting and colour to create unexpected perspectives and a continuous sense of depth. What initially appears to be a narrow space becomes layered and visually expansive.
Warm red tones, deep green timber, textured surfaces and playful lighting bring richness and character, while planting softens the architectural framework. At the heart of the seating area, a burrito display incorporating a distinctive ‘Z’ for Zwolle creates a location-specific signature within the familiar Chidoz environment.
The result is a fast-casual interior that turns movement into experience — inviting visitors to move through, discover and find their own place within the space.
